The Most Powerful Knowledge

The most powerful knowledge that I have attained in my 32 years is that which is known to us as the

"Scientific Method".

What is it you ask? It is the single greatest achievement that any intelligent species can ever come to. The person who pioneered this greatest discovery for us on Earth was known as Alhazen. Born in what we now call Basra Iraq, he lived during the turn of the first Millenia in Cairo Egypt. Indeed he was alive when the year changed from 999-1000.

Alhazen was a very great scientist. Perhaps one of the greatest scientists who has ever lived on Earth. His contributions to humanity are so incredibly wide and varied it is difficult to list his achievements. For that I will give you the Wikipedia link.

What I do want to give you is Alhazens most valuable Treasure. The Scientific Method. It has not changed very much from when it was first written by Alhazen so long ago. Treasure this as humanities most powerful and valuable possession.

1. Define the question
2. Gather information and resources (observe)
3. Form hypothesis
4. Perform experiment and collect data
5. Analyze data
6. Interpret data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypothesis
7. Publish results
8. Retest (frequently done by other scientists)
